Our Wraps

What can Regal Wraps be used for?

Pretty much everything you currently use plastic wrap or plastic bags for apart from raw meat!

From your kids lunches to your fresh veggies Regal Wraps will become your alternative to plastic.

You will also be amazed at how fresh it keeps your products. Once you begin using Regal Wraps for that half avocado and see the quality of the product a few days later you will be hooked and never return to that nasty plastic.

How are Regal Wraps environmentally friendly?

Did you know that different plastic can take up to 600 years to decompose!

Regal wraps are an alternative to the usual plastic wrap and once the wrap has reached the end of its life (each wrap lasts about a year) you dig a hole in your backyard and bury it.

Unlike plastic it is a bio-degradable product and will break down quickly without a trace.

USING REGAL WRAPS

Fold your colourful patterned REGAL WRAPS around food items as you would with other plastic wraps. Cover food, or wrap items such as cheese, veggies, sandwiches, cookies, and many other foods. This is a great alternative in lunch boxes for cut apples, carrot sticks & muffins – deliciously fresh.  Just use the warmth of your hands to mould the REGAL WRAPS to the item you wish to cover.

You can also use your REGAL WRAPS to make a handy pouch. Just fold a wrap in half, and then fold the edges over to form a seal using the warmth of your hands.

Step 2

Step 3

Beeswax itself never goes bad, but overtime and with constant use, the protective wax coating on your REGAL WRAPS will eventually wear away.

Why not do a little experiment with your REGAL WRAP?

When your wrap has reached the end of its life, dig a hole in your backyard and bury it – unlike plastic it is a bio-degradable product and will break down quickly without a trace.

Caring For Regal Wraps

Do's

  1. After using your REGAL WRAPS, hand wash with cool water and very mild dish soap, if needed. Alcohol free is best.
  2. Dry your wraps off with a tea towel, or hang somewhere out of the sun to dry. Store them somewhere handy for your next use. They may even take over the plastic draw!
  3. If any food gets stuck to your wrap, soak in a sink of cool water for a few minutes, it should soften and wipe away.
  4. Eventually your beeswax coating will wear away, this means your wrap either needs to be re-waxed or replaced. If you think that your wrap has been compromised at all, it is best to start with a new one.

Dont's

  1. DO NOT use hot water or your wax coating may melt.
  2. Regal Wraps are not designed to be used with heat. So no washing in the dishwasher, putting in the microwave or oven. Prolonged exposure to sun on a hot day may also melt your wrap.
  3. We do not recommend using your wraps with raw meat.
